CPI
The communist party of India (C P I) was formed on 26th December 1925 at the first party conference held in kanpur. S.V. Ghate was the first General Secretary of CPI. Inspired by the great October socialist revolution, brave young Patriots with the immense desire to free the country from the colonial rule, came together in the city of kanpur to form the communist party of India to fight for the national freedom and to build a socialist country.
